Wear to head/tail of darkened spine, edges and corners. "Hand colored" in pencil to paste-down endpaper. Rest of text block tight and unmarked. Multiple pages unopened. Occasional light foxing to text and several illustrations. Second series ( also by Bell & Daldy) followed in 1874. Very good. Item #2479
